The emphasis in this position is on aircraft integration and technical decision-making.What you need for this position:- 10 or more years of experience in the aerospace industry in a design capacity with extensive familiarity in prototype aircraft development. - This job is for a generalist that is conversant in several of the fields involved in aircraft design, including: avionics, software, controls, performance, structures, propulsion, aerodynamics, and systems engineering. Conversant, means familiar to the point that one can lead, question, and challenge a specialist in that field. - Proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, including the ability to lead, conduct, and arbitrate trade studies encompassing several engineering specialties. - Experience with large composite structures - Advanced degree is required.
