In this position, you will: Define and determine the necessary tasks to complete verification and validation of electronics/electrical components traceability between verification and validation matrix requests and plans as required. Direct the execution of the PV&V plan, update and complete test and analysis reports and closeout matrix tasks as required. Provide metric updates to the Electronics Test Lead Engineer prior to Product Council Reviews. Lead and communicate with cross functional team members to define relationship between requirements and verification plans. Support defining subsystem verification plans. Support development of subsystem product specifications (both general and detailed specifications). Assist in problem root cause definition, resolution, and verification/validation of any issues found during initial PV&V activities. Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. Required Skills and Experience 4 or more years of work experience in embedded electronics development for off-road vehicle applications or related fields. 3 or more years of experience in product testing of electronic hardware and sensors. Good understanding and experience with Communication Area Network (CAN) Bus protocol. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to travel world wide to John Deere, supplier, and test sites as needed. Desired Skills and Experience Previous work experience with the design and use of Automated Test Tools. Design for Six Sigma training and experience.
