The company designs and builds armored vehicles and subsystems for the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and international customers, and is the defense industry's largest supplier of armored military vehicles.Description of Work: - Modeling and Simulation effort as managed in order to produce approach and design for Networked Reconfigurable Full Task Trainer. - Capable to install, maintain and develop both current and future Simulations - Perform network development of associated networks (DIS, HLA, etc.) utilized by various Simulations. - Able to develop technical approach for FCS Training Devices. - Prepare and present written reports, status reports, presentations, and animations of results and findings. - Develop and present proposals for current and future Simulations in use for development of supported projects. - Develop and extract dbase engineering information (Post processing/Data Mining) for use in project development. - Support multiple projects under development as a team. - Recommend, support and implement any and all improvements to current and future Simulations capabilities. - Function as an interdisciplinary team member, as required, to support engineering projects in trade-off analyses, system/sub-system evaluations, requirements development, requirements analyses, and other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Experienced in both dbase administration and Scenario Development on the following Simulations but not limited to: JCATS, JANUS, CASTFOREM, EADSIM, OneSAF/JSAF and VRSG/MetaVR - Strong knowledgebase in development of federation of simulations - Military Training or Modeling & Simulation background is desired. - Experience in Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), High Level Architecture (HLA), and/or Training Enabling Network Architecture (TENA) - Knowledge of modern Military (preferably Army) systems/subsystems. - Knowledge of modern Military (preferably Army) operations. - Knowledge of modern military tactics, techniques, and procedures is desired. - Versed in Government (preferably Army) Training algorithms. - Strong analytical skills in an engineering/science discipline. - Software development/programming skills is desired. - Ability to work in various computer operating environments including Windows/Unix/Linux. - Strong knowledge base on (United States Army Modeling and Simulations (M&S) Processes and Procedures). - Able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. - Must be a US Citizen, able to obtain and hold a DoD secret clearance. - Limited amount of travel and overtime is required.-Bachelor's Degree preferred but will consider past military experience combined with Associates Degree. - Familiarity with FCS Training is desired.
