This AGT1500 Project Engineering position is a key member of this team, providing assistance to more senior project personnel and interacting with other disciplines, management, suppliers, and customers. Specific duties will entail overseeing development and production improvement activities, providing technical support to production and field investigations, conducting root cause investigations on technical issues, implementing corrective actions, and reporting findings to Honeywell and government program management personnel. This position will assist in managing budget and schedule commitments; facilitate technical and program decisions; and provide support to improve product quality, delivery and cost.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Minimum of five (5) years of directly related turbine engine experience, either in design, test, or product support functions

US Citizenship or permanent resident status

Demonstrate the ability to work independently as a valued individual contributor to the AGT1500 project engineering team, through successful execution of technical tasks requiring full use and application of advanced engineering or scientific methods and tools.

Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize complex technical projects

Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, to include informal and formal presentations

Good problem solving skills; can grasp highly technical issues and negotiate engineering problems to root cause; makes sound engineering decisions with reasonable amounts of information
