Job Functions/Work Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer develops methodologies, tooling concepts and
processes required to support the high volume production and aircraft
certification activities for the Eclipse
500
Very Light Jet. This challenging position will generate structural,
electrical and assembly work instructions, generate quality plans and
support first article inspections. Ability to work
closely with the manufacturing technicians to support continuous
improvement and develop lean principles in the manufacturing processes.
Interface with suppliers to meet the technical
and schedule challenges necessary to support production. Prefer strong
demonstrated experience with integrated lean six sigma principles.
Strong technical experience with a proven
track record of successful execution. Demonstrated proficiency in the
use of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles, gage R&R and
statistical process control. Green Belt
certified. Engineering degree with a minimum of 3 years of
manufacturing engineering experience. In lieu of engineering degree,
extensive aviation experience will be considered.
