Description of Work: Function: Corrective Action System Engineer / Integrated Failure Analysis Lead Corrective Action System Engineer responsibilities include the following: Support, Maintain and Control EBOM for Concepts and Techincal Demostrations. Design and Plan Changes to IDE Process Lead Effort to improve System IDE Process for Problem Resolution and Mass database uses. Support Effort to improve System IDE Process of Failure Analysis coordination for test vehicles Prepare and track Engineering Project and provide updates and progress reports for EVMS Support Engineering in collection, analysis and data base development for Program Problem Reporting and Corrective action Support administration tasks by preparing reports, creating metrics, tracking manpower and controlling Process documentation. Support Engineering Peer Reviews by attending Technical Reviews, generating review notes, processing review records, and placing documentation into Configuration Management via written processes. Support engineering design configuration control and documentation. Support Engineering Section processing of Contract Proposals and Estimates. Provide Process Documentation for record tracking and compliance.Integrated Failure Analysis Lead responsibilities include the following: Manage GDLS failure analysis effort across production, field, engineering, and test venues. This includes the refinement and implementation of the FA process as well as insuring the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of the FA. This effort requires close coordination with engineering, program management, project engineering, supply chain mgmt, manufacturing, GD-services, and the test engineers This effort also includes management of supplier FA and the timely return of failure LRUs (Line Replacement Units) to the inventoryJob Requirements: BS in Business Management, or Engineering Discipline. Experience using Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access) is required. Experience using ECARDS, CMSTAT and on line MR is perferred. Must have good written and verbal English language communication skills Weekend and holiday overtime will often be required during peak periods.
