Engineering Fellow -ICS Advanced Networking

LOCATION: MARLBOROUGH, MA 01752 Raytheon Network Centric Systems -Marlboro Engineering Fellow -ICS Advanced Systems The ICS Advanced Networking Communications Fellow position requires at least 20 years of DoD and MILSATCOM domain experience that spans all military branches. The position is responsible for the ICS/NCS mobile advanced networking roadmap, the capture of key communication networking pursuits, and the insertion of these technologies into existing and future products. This position will be based in Marlborough or another key NCS location but will have responsibility to work across NCS sites, product lines, and businesses to lead strategic networking communications efforts. In addition to the multi-site NCS MANET role, the Advanced Networking Communications Fellow will support extensive networking SATCOM engineering skills on various strategic pursuits including HC3, an above 2 GHz (A2G) SATCOM multi-service communication terminal that is Software Communication Architecture (SCA) compliant and configurable for multiple Joint Service platforms. Specifically, the Advanced Networking Fellow will be responsible for leading capture teams in the area of MANET, Wideband Networking Waveforms, and TSAT technologies. The Advanced Communciations Fellow must have a broad range of skills coinciding with the current Communications Systems Department charter. The position applies these skills to existing and new product lines. This position requires the ability to communicate and write effectively as well as work within a structured Systems Engineering process environment including a task oriented, value based management system. Other required skills include but are not limited to the following: • Peer to Peer MANET Architectures • MANET Protocols • Disruption Tolerant Networking (DTN) • Multiple Inputs, Multiple Outputs (MIMOs) • Networking Waveform Development • Information Assurance for MANETs • Ultra Wide Band (UWB) • Software Defined Radios (SDRs) • Cognition Technologies • Wideband Networking Waveform Technologies • Extensive Systems Engineering knowledge of EHF/AEHF SATCOM The Advanced Communications Fellow will take a leadership role working with Business Development and Program Leadership to cultivate new customers, assess new opportunities, and win new programs that leverage advanced communications technologies.
