Entry Level Analyst

**Great opportunity for a 1-2 year professional candidate to join a fast growing, stable, international corporation.  Great career path within this company!**  My client is seeking a Billing Analyst to join their Corporate Headquarters, located in Annapolis, MD. The Billing Analyst will: * Prepare invoices for a variety of Fixed Price, Time and Material and Cost type contracts to the Federal Government and Commercial customers in a timely manner (30 days or less). * Answer questions and resolve invoice discrepancies while providing superior customer service to external clients. * Work closely with the collection analysts on customer accounts to obtain payments. * Interact with Project Leaders and Business Unit analysts on a daily basis to discuss project/revenue related issues. * Analyze unbilled receivables and report information on a monthly basis using various software tools (Costpoint, Impromptu, Excel & Data Warehouse). * Interface daily with the Contracts Department on contract issues and project information within the accounting system. * Maintain minimal delay in payment of invoices to align with corporate cash flow goals.Qualifications Required ExperienceMore than one year of related experience in billing or accounting practices. Ability to analyze accounts in the general ledger as well as customer accounts in accounts receivable. Strong Excel skills.
