Facility & Space Manager

MTC Technologies, Inc. (MTC) provides a wide range of sophisticated system engineering, intelligence, information technology and program management solutions, primarily to the Department of Defense and various intelligence agencies. Serve as the Facility and Space Planner for a major Army Headquarters at Fort McPherson, GA responsible for space and furnishings planning and management and other facilities management support functions. Responsibilities include the continuous re-organizations and reconfigurations of cubicle type workstations for Third Army headquarters. Coordinate with commercial office furniture vendors and their design and installation sub-contractors, DIS supply; staffs section Point of Contacts and the Third Army Facility Manager. Coordinate and monitor the teardown, re-building, and reconfiguration of staff section workstations as appropriate using existing inventories. Monitor executive and special purchase furniture purchases, to include: receipt, storage, and installation. Provide or coordinate for access and escort services for various frequent contractors and maintenance workers completing services within the building. Assist the facility management effort by coordinating and inspecting maintenance and construction work. Manage work order/service order initiation and tracking until project completion. Maintain an inventory of all workstation furniture supplied to staff sections and in storage. Schedule, coordinate, and obtain support services to provide for office movements.
