Honeywell products touch the lives of most people everyday, whether you’re flying on a plane, driving a car, heating or cooling a home, furnishing an apartment, taking medication for an illness or playing a sport.This position is the lead HTSI member of a team that packs, ships, assembles, maintains, repairs, and disassembles a variety of antenna systems, both within the CONUS as well as OCONUS.  This team consists of HTSI personnel, Government (customer), and subcontractors who must work in a cohesive and effective manner in order to accomplish goals and tasks under limited or compressed schedules.   Contract specfic benefits will apply. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS degree in a technical or engineering field with at least 5 years of related experience, or AS degree in engineering technology with at least 9 years of related experience, or Comprehensive military training or completion of a civilian technical school program with at least 13 years of related experience.  Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.  ·Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems as they pertain to antenna systems.·Ability to work at heights of at least 60’, and to operate a variety of manlifts or hi-rangers used to reach these heights.·Trained in fall prevention and the proper use of fall protection equipment.·Ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings in order to assemble, maintain, and repair antenna systems and their associated uplink and downlink subsystems.·  A working knowledge of satellite ground systems is a plus, as is an understanding of emergency power generation systems and uninterruptable power systems.·  An active SCI clearance is definitely a plus, and as a minimum, the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an SCI clearance.·  Candidate must be willing to travel world-wide, and with rare occasional travel under short notice.  This position entails approximately 50% travel.·Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to plan and organize both large and small projects with minimal guidance.  As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to a diverse workforce.
