TITLE:    Flight Planning Representative

 

DEPARTMENT: Flight Planning

 

REPORTS TO:  Manager, Flight Planning

 

FLSA CLASSIFICATION:  Non-Exempt

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:Research availability of Sentient’s partners' aircraft, understanding all quality and price attributes of each aircraftNegotiate pricing where set pricing is not in affectAnalyze and structure flight segments to optimize jet utilizationEvaluate and respond to the economic impact of each aircraft selection and trip designRespond quickly and accurately to last minute changes, i.e., new trips, cancellations, mechanical issues, etc. Achieve target margins on all flights while maintaining excellent quality standardsWork closely with Client Services, Flight Tracking and Sales to ensure accurate understanding of client needs and most up to date options for fulfilling client's requestsMaintain Operator and Field Base Operations databasesBuild and enhance strong relationships with partners and vendors

 

 

Skills and Attributes:Results oriented Team player Excellent negotiation skillsComfort and experience building and strengthening relationships via phone and cross functionally with other departmentsExcellent analytical and creative problem solving skills Must be self motivated and focused to work with minimal direction in a fast paced environment

 

Prior Experience:

· Bachelor’s of Science in a related field

· Operations experience in a service environment

· Aviation and/or logistics experience preferred
