Responsible for the structural assessments of repairs to Commercial engine components. Knowledge of IPD (Integrated Product Development), Structures ESW (Engineering Standard Work), & the Product Design Review process. Provide structural analyses in support of Commercial Repair IPT (Integrated Product Team) activities. Coordinate structural analysis requirements for repairs with module centers/CIPT's (Component Integrated Product Team). Work independently on structural analysis solutions when historical solutions are not available or applicable.
GSE (Global Services Engineering) structures provides a work environment that fosters increased development of engineering fundamentals with knowledge development of Fracture Mechanics and FEA (ANSYS) modeling, as well as good engineering judgment, with an eye on "common sense."



BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; MS degree preferred.



Minimum of 5 years experience conducting structural analyses on gas turbine components. Working knowledge of ANSYS/NASTRAN required. Familiarity with UG desired.
