Occupation:Global Account Manager ABOUT THE POSITION Fortune 500 consumer durables firm seeks an outstanding  Purchasing professional  with a strong background in Commodity purchasing with a special emphasis on Electronics, circuit boards,  connectors, sensors, and various electromagnetic components. This position will pay in the $100-110K+ Bonus + a truly outstanding benefit package.  As Sourcing Manager  you will work with technical buyers, engineering, corporate supply chain and other areas of the company to help the company achieve key business objectives.   SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of  five years in Purchasing  with significant experience in the purchasing / materials management of electronics, electromagnetic components, and various items used in the manufacture of complex consumer durable products. You must have experience working in a Fortune 500 multi-plant,  manufacturing firm. You must have outstanding negotiating skills and excellent analytical ability to identify  and exploit key opportunities. You must have a track record of proven success in cost reduction and productivity improvement using innovative approaches to Supply Chain Management. Experience in E-Commerce, E-Auctions, E-Sourcing is very desirable Excellent knowledge of systems, such as SAP, ERP, MRP, JD Edwards is critical. Six Sigma background and experience in Lean Manufacturing is also highly desired.
