Group Quality Manager

Lead a team of Quality Professionals to implement the next generation Quality System. Specifically, lead the key new initiative of implementing one-company Quality Standard Work. In addition, lead quality day-to-day functions of Contract Review, and Quality System Documentation for ensuring flow down of customer and Quality System requirements.

Supervise approximately 12 individuals in the contracts and Quality standard work/procedures group. Assignment requires overview of the team preparing concise and accurate written presentations, procedures, proposals, and/or related graphics materials consistent with customer specifications, company procedures, professional standards and project schedules. Candidate will be responsible to function as Master Custodian for documentation that supports P&W's Quality System. Candidate will also function as the delegate Quality System Functional Commitment Manager for review and approval of customer contracts and flow down of customer requirements. Candidate will also participate in ACE and/or continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, or other related field, with a minimum 3 years of experience. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Organization/project management, leadership skills to motivate, develop & positively encourage your team and interpersonal, communications and technical writing skills are required. In-depth knowledge of AS9100 required, Govt. Contracting and regulatory requirements a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as proficiency in computer applications required.
