Seeks RELIABILITY ENGINEER

Our client is a world leader in their industry.  This global company is seeking a very savvy Reliability Engineer for their Rockford, IL location.  Provide Reliability / Maintainability / System Safety analysis and design guidance for electronic controls and electrical power generation, distribution, and load management systems on a variety of aircraft platforms. Analyses to include: Failure Modes and Effects ( FMEA / FMECA ) from the circuit component and the functional levels, System Safety, System Hazards, Fault Tree, Maintainability Tasks, and Reliability Predictions. Provide technical support to the Design Engineering, Product Support Engineering and Marketing organizations in both concurrent product development and mature product support environments. Familiarity with Aircraft Certification requirements related to System Safety and Reliability ( ARP4754, ARP4761, FAR / JAR), MSG-3 analysis, and Aircraft Electrical System Architecture. Thorough knowledge of Systems, Software, and Electronic Controls hardware is essential. Candidate must possess effective verbal and written communcation skills. Experience with common spreadsheet, database and work processing applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access highly desirable.

REQUIREMENTS

· BSEE Required, MSEE Preferred
