Job Functions/Work Summary
The HR Business Partner will play an integral role in helping set the
business strategies for the operations they support. The will support
the operations in the following areas:
Employee Relations, Compensation, Performance Management, Recruitment,
Reward & Recognition, EEOC, and Business Strategies.
The HR Business Partner will advise, research, and support any employee
relations issues, advising staff and management on a wide range of HR &
employment issues. Duties include:
#,,Implementation of policies and procedures.

#,,Provides guidance, counseling and training to managers and employees
on employee relations issues, payroll, benefits, LOA's, policies and
policy changes.
#,,May assist in the formulation of compensation objectives, manpower
goals, personnel policies and procedures. Conducts research and analyzes
data on assigned projects.
#,,Designs and administers proactive programs, procedures and plans
related to employee relations activities. Writes position descriptions,
benefit brochures and employee
policies.
#,,Investigates employee complaints and recommends the company#s
response to the employee.
#,,May respond to EEOC charges and unemployment claims as well as
participate in proceedings as needed. Ensures legal requirements are met
to minimize exposure to
liability. Ensures compliance with the random drug testing
policies/procedures.
#,,Conducts exit interviews and compiles statistical reports and
information.
#,,Conducts new hire orientation.
#,,May screen resumes, applications and interview applicants.
#,,Provides timely and accurate information and data on request or as
per service agreements.
#,,Assist in resolving Payroll issues.
#,,Manage Drug/Alcohol policy and procedures
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, and
must be a critical thinker.
