HRIS Analyst

The Aerospace Corporation, established in 1960, is a private, nonprofit corporation that operats an FFRDC sponsored by the United States Air Force, providing objective technical analyses and assessments for space programs that serve the national interest. As the FFRDC for national-security space, Aerospace supports long-term planning and the immediate needs of our nation's military and reconnaissance space programs.

DESCRIPTION

Acts as stie administrator for eStaffing (Virtual Edge Professional) system. Will develop and implement database solutions for all areas of human resources administration and management, as well as maintain current databases in MS Access. Generate, compile, and analyze HR data as required by customer needs. Acts as liason between HR functional areas, HRIS and CIRD. Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new applications to enhance existing HRIS, including the evaluation of commercial software. Document HRIS processes and develop training materials for various systems. Assists with maintenance of SAP/HR modules, including Organization Management, Master Data, and Benefits. Conduct training classes as needed. Assist the Director of HRIS with special projects.


REQUIREMENTS

Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education and the application of concepts, practices and methods from Human Resources. Three years relevant experience in Human Resource departments is required, with staffing and HRIS experience preferred. Experience in creating and maintaining MS Access databases is required. Experience with implementation of ERP software (i.e., SAP, Peoplesoft) is desired. Experience with Virtual Edge Professional is highly desirable; as well as familiarity with, and experience in reporting software using SQL. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products required. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent interpersonal skills are required.
