Human Factors / Software Systems Engineer
Develop innovative human collaboration technologies including human-interactive automation, human-guided algorithms, information visualizations, functional displays & controls, trade analysis to determine appropriate level of automation, & alerting systems.
Responsibilities
· Will include User Interface design/evaluation, human performance analysis, human-subject experimentation, knowledge elicitation, cognitive task analysis, workload analysis, cognitive modeling, business development & project management
· Join a human-systems collaboration system design team for a variety of applications including Command & Control systems, image/signal processing, spacecraft, knowledge sharing systems & satellite operations
Requirements
· US Citizenship· MS degree (PhD preferred) in Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautics & Astronautics, or Engineering Psychology.
· 3+ years experience with human systems engineering/human factors techniques including task analysis, descriptive modeling, & human-subject experimentation.
