Human Resources Manager

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Provide Human Resources direction as part of the leadership team for Sullair-US operation. Sullair World Wide headquarters is located in Michigan City, Indiana (near Chicago). Sullair WW has manufacturing facilities in US, China, France and Australia. This position will provide HR leadership in Michigan City for the HR Dept and Office Services, approximately 12 direct reports. Sullair WW revenue is approximately $650 million, 70% of the revenue is generated in the US and approximately 1350 employees WW, and approximately 800 are US based.

Core responsibilities include directing a staff of professional and support personnel engaged in providing Human Resources Programs. Participate as a member of the Michigan City, IN leadership team to further develop a true business partnership. Apply HR strategy to business strategy, current and future objectives. Partner with the business leaders to manage talent and leadership development, positive employee relations, performance management, compensation programs, benefit programs, diversity initiatives, recruitment and retention strategies, ACE initiatives (continuous improvement tools), legal compliance and cultural development and enhancement.

This position reports to the Global Director of Human Resources, Sullair WW.


BA/BS required
MA/MS/MBA preferred

10+ years of experience with BA/BS degree
7+ years of experience with MA/MS/MBA degree
