Qualify machines/tools/processes and integrate the machinery and equipment into Mfg systems at automatic transmission or axle plants. Work with cross-functional teams to achieve program targets. Produce process documentation including process flow charts, process illustrations, dimensional control plans, gauging instructions, etc. Work with product design engineers to ensure manufacturing feasibility and a robust process design. Document and control expenditures for machinery acquisitions and launch programs within authorized budget.Requirements include but are not limited to: Minimum Bachelor Science Degree in Engineering, highly prefer a Master Science Degree 2 - 5 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably automotive.
