IT Business Consultant, Aftermarket

Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Applications is an IT organization that delivers SAP-ERP and other IT solutions in support of Pratt & Whitney's jet engine overhaul centers worldwide.

This position is for an IT Business Consultant within Aftermarket Applications. The selected candidate will assume project and technical responsibility for the delivery of new capability to the P&W SAP ERP solution in use by P&W's engine overhaul centers.

Job responsibilities include a leadership role in:
1. Blueprinting functionality requirements with P&W's engine overhaul centers and fleet management businesses.
2. Configuring SAP and authoring functional specifications for the development of new functionality.
3. Coordinating with software development partners to realize and unit test functionality.
4. Authoring and executing integration and regression test scripts.
5. Authoring training materials and administering power user training.
6. Supporting go-lives of the SAP Aftermarket functionality into the joint ventures and other acquisitions added to P&W's aftermarket business.



BS in Computer Science or related field.

5-10 years experience in related field. Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance/Service Management (PM/SM), Project systems(PS) and knowledge of turbine engine configuration management desired.


Some domestic and international travel is required.
