IT Data Analyst

SUMMARY:

Work with end users and IT functional support staff to define and document data requirements, primarily supporting, but not limited to, sales and finance.  Support data requirements by developing SQL Queries, Crystal Reports, and SQL Server stored procedures that can be published in a standard reporting environment.  Partner with other technical IT staff to complete complex data related projects.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED: 

· 4 to 6 years experience in managing and/or maintaining a Business Intelligence System. 

· Able to work with end users to document business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

· Candidate must have substantial work experience in Cognos toolset focused on data centric software

development projects.

· Understanding of dimensional models, analytics and reporting, business analysis, data analysis, logical

data modeling highly desirable.

· Knowledge of Financial Systems or any ERP systems experience

· Project or team leadership is required.

· Ability to translate and write SQL Queries and SQL Server stored procedures.

· Report writing experience using the Crystal Reports application is strongly desired.
