IT Engineering Software Systems Developer

The selected candidate will be responsible for EIS (the Engineering Parts List System) and other Oracle intense Engineering applications. Develop knowledge of Engineering business rules and product configuration management, which cover the whole product life. Assist the Engineering Community with process re-engineering and implementation within the enterprise TeamCenter Engineering PDM system. Design and develop new applications that support the engineering community. Customize and maintain off-the-shelf applications in support of engineering strategic initiatives, with a key focus on the technical aspects EIS and Teamcenter engineering. Work with HS Engineering to develop requirements. Implement using both internal HS IT labor and outside software vendors and contractors.


Bachelor (`9s degree in engineering or computer related field.


Position requires strong communication skills, strong Team Skills, and the good multitasking ability. Project Management and process re-engineering experience desired. Background in engineering applications such as, Oracle, TeamCenter Engineering or PDM Systems is preferred. General experience with application development and databases including: .Net, Visual Basic, C, C#, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, and web development tools. Knowledge of hardware platforms including: UNIX, LINUX and Windows.
