IT Process Analyst

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAWW) is the largest operator of B747 cargo aircraft in the world and the third largest cargo airline, behind FedEx and UPS. We are currently seeking an IT Process Analyst to work at our Purchase, NY headquarters.

 

Position Summary:  The intent of this position is to bridge the gap between the high level process architectures established by the PI/CI group and the detailed business requirements necessary to establish a technology solution.  This person will make use of process modeling and analysis tools to validate and quantify the potential gains from the deployment of technology in a process stream, and develop a functional specification for the design of a solution.  The person must have excellent communication skills, be personable, presentable, confident and a leader.  The position requires an analytical mind set with broad process experience.

 

Major Job Accountabilities:

·  Detailed process review and assessment

·  Development of key process measurements

·  Liaison between process owners and IT

·  Adoption of tools and methodologies for process modeling

·  Research of best practices for specific processes

·  Development of detailed process functional specifications

·  Collaboration with Continuous Improvement in process architecture

·  Partnering with IT Enterprise Architecture team in solution definition

 

Qualifications: 

·  Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) in business or technical field

·  Six to eight years experience in varied business environments

·  Prior experience with process design and evaluation

·  Understand in of how technology can be applied to support business processes
