Industrial Seamstress needed

You will be sowing large coverings for fabric covered aircraft, seat slings, headliners, tool and headset bags, firewall covers and more. Patterns are used most of the time, but some custom work might be necessary from time to time. Materials used include dacron, vinyl, cotton cloth and more.

This is an industrial/commercial sewing job. Please do not apply if your experience is limited to only the fashion industry.



What we want:We’re looking for prior experience of at least 4 years working as an industrial seamstress (not necessarily in the aviation field) as an absolute must, as well as a High School Diploma or GED. Our candidate should have a sharp eye, a good understanding of sewing industrial covers (car covers, custom covers, etc) and be able to work with less than perfect patterns.Any previous experience in the sport aviation industry is a big plus, but is not necessaryYou must be a go-getter! You will receive some limited training from a previous employee, but you will have to learn quickly and for the most part you will be on your own.
