The principle DITEC infrastructure consists of a distributed suite of systems, networks and applications at the Defense Threat Reduction Center (DTRC). Components of the DITEC include the DTRA Experimentation Laboratory (DEL) and the Computational Multi-Physics Center (CMPC).The Information Technology Center Lead requires expert knowledge of system engineering and must have system engineering management experience supporting all developmental phases of the system life-cycle. Will direct and coordinate activities concerned with research, development, procurement, fielding, operation, and sustainment of tools and technologies that support the objectives of the DITEC.Should have knowledge and experience in systems engineering, system integration, and information assurance. Should be knowledgeable in Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and lead efforts to improve existing processes to improve quality.Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.Required SkillsThis position requires knowledge of model-driven development and Unified Modeling Language (UML).Required ExperienceThis position requires a Bachelors degree in systems engineering or related computer discipline and 10 years of related experience; Masters degree and PMP certification are preferred.
