Injection Molding Operator - 1st/2nd shift

Injection Molding Setup/Operator:

Tri-Mack Plastics is a leading supplier of highly engineered plastic parts to the aerospace industry. We specialize in tight tolerance injection molded parts and machined plastic parts. Operators are responsible for the quality of their parts. We have 16 machine from 25 ton to 600 ton and run high temperature engineering resins such as PEEK, Torlon, PPS, Amodel, etc.  All our operators are proficient at reading blueprints and measuring their own parts using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and optical comparators.

 

Operator Duties:

* Follow written work instructions that describe the process and the required measurements. 

* Hand load inserts when applicable and unloads parts.

* Inspect all features of the parts produced using micrometer, calipers, optical comparator. Record the results on inspection logs or in an SPC computer.

* Load material.

* Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to supervisors and co-workers on other shifts.
* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

 

Note: All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment physical with eye exam and drug screen. Tri-Mack performs background checks.
