Instructional Systems Designer

We are seeking Instructional Designers to join our team for the Jacksonville area.

Delex Systems, Inc. is seeking mid- to senior-level Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) to conduct the design and develop of innovative training solutions, from requirements analysis and development of objectives to final evaluation of courseware. Individuals will be responsible for working with a wide range of clients to develop cutting edge solutions, including highly interactive computer and web-based training and simulations. Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well alone and in a team environment.

Specific responsibilities:
• Conduct user requirements analysis and front-end analysis to determine training requirements.
• Interface with client and subject matter experts to understand complex subject matter.
• Develop lesson outlines, objectives, content, and practice activities to support training requirements.
• Develop testing strategy and test questions to support training objectives.
• Develop storyboards and other detailed design materials to communicate training requirements to developers.
• Select appropriate media to meet training requirements, and work with graphic artists and multimedia developers to ensure training requirements are met.
• Conduct reviews of preliminary and final courseware to ensure quality of product.

Requriements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Psychology, or other closely related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional systems development methodology (ADDIE model)
• U.S. Citizenship
• Mid-level ISDs: 5-7 years of ISD experience, or closely related work
• Senior-level ISDs: 7-10 years of ISD experience, or closely related work, including experience in multimedia instructional design and leading teams
• Must be eligible for access to classified information.
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%).
