Integrated Scheduling Specialist 3 Position Description Integrated Scheduling currently has several challenging opportunities available at the St. Louis site for individuals with a background in Project Management, Program Planning, Program and Network Scheduling. The individuals selected will be responsible for the development and coordination of schedules that support program requirements and are fully integrated across all stakeholders. Responsibilities include detailed analysis of current schedule performance, variance and trend analysis, and timely communication of scheduling issues and risks to program management. In addition, the candidates selected will function as the scheduling subject matter experts for their assigned programs and will be the point of contact with customers and suppliers concerning scheduling related issues. Candidates will also be asked to provide coaching to less experienced schedulers and participate in functional process and initiative teams as required. [ + ] Project Management Experienced in creating comprehensive project schedules identifying time frames for key project milestones. Directs and manages more complex project schedules; independently identifies project resource requirements, may collaborate with others on the most complex projects assigned or assist more experienced employees in complex large scale projects. Ability to accept, direct and perform responsibilities and work assigned tasks as a project team member in support of the overall project; leads and directs the activities and resources of assigned projects and supports higher graded employees in more large scale and complex projects.Technical [ + ] Critical Path Methodology Complete knowledge of critical path network methodology (e.g., logic, relationship/interdependency, early/late, start/complete, minimum duration). [ + ] Earned Value Management Complete knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application. [ + ] Finance Integration Knowledge General knowledge of Finance disciplines and tasks performed by various Boeing Finance processes and the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products and processes are used by and affect one another. Applies expertise to a wide range of business objectives. [ + ] Proj Management Theory/Concept Complete knowledge of Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, project risk management, triple constraints, project scope management, project management lifecycle etc.) contained in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK[R] Guide). [ + ] Proj Sched & Resource Mgmt Complete ability to create comprehensive project schedules which identify time frames for key project milestones, direct and manage more complex project schedules, independently identify project resource requirements, collaborate with others on more complex projects assigned, and assist others in complex large scale projects. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
