Integration &Test Engineer

Defense & Security Systems:Sensis Defense & Security Systems division increases tactical capabilities through advanced radar detection and surveillance integration products. Customers include the worlds militaries as well as system integrators. Sensis Corporation currently has an opening for a Test Lead in our Special Protection Systems (SPS) segment.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency while leading the optimization and testing of the SPS systems. Daily activities include:- Review test plans, procedures and reports. - Perform data analysis, prepare test briefings, and write test reports- Train and mentor less experienced engineers - Supervise and conduct hardware, software and system troubleshooting - Insure the proper traceability of system requirements using the DOORS database- Supervise the performance of Matlab data analysis, preparation of test briefings, and writing test reports - Supervise the support of lab and field system integrations - Supervise the support of engineering dry runs, internal QA dry runs, and formal customer testing in the factory and in the field. - Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings between the test team and customer - Lead both internal and external technical reviews. - Participate in the System requirements analysis Education required:Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree program with 4 - 7 years experience.Required skills include:- Previous experience leading people.- Working knowledge of RF systems- General understanding of DoD test programs- Working knowledge of Matlab.- 5+ years experience testing complex electronic systems - Working knowledge of software/hardware communication interface - Working knowledge of electronic test equipment and measurement schemes - Familiarity with Microsoft tools and Microsoft Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000) - Working knowledge of configuration management (DOORS), requirement management systems, and automatic testing tools.- Knowledge of the necessity of configuration management, requirement management systems, and automatic testing tools - Familiarity with SUN Solaris, Unix, Linux, VxWorks and real-time operating systems - Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and protocols - Willingness for remote test and coordination business travel.Clearance requirements:Current DoD Secret clearance desired. Position requires a DoD clearance and applicant must have the ability to receive a security clearance.
