Internal Marketing Specialist

Time Financial is currently seeking an Internal Marketing Specialist to join its Charlotte location!

Take incoming calls from FAs/FCs and encourage them to pursue life insurance opportunities; assure them there are resources to help them; give them confidence they can pursue this business without having to become specialists. "Capture the lead"

 

Identify purpose of call and: Determine if FC can handle / RS needs to be involved / or call to be appropriatly directed to term desk (ML) or LTC phone # (all firms)

 

Take information for illustration required which will be sent by CD

 

 

Help FA/FC identify opportunity and give them direction

1. planning prospect - gather data and refer to field specialist

2. Insurance Review - gather data, incl. client needs, handle w/ FA/FC or direct to field specialist

 3. Identify case FA/FC can handle and assist him/her in process.

 

Provide information on their firm's life insurance distribution system

necessary knowledge/skills required:

'-- Excellent listening / communication skills

'-- Ability to establish and maintain follow up systems

-- Able to articulate a knowledge of life insurance; products, structure and illustrations

 

'-- Able to analyze basic life insurance needs

 

'-- basic understanding of Estate tax planning concepts(transfer tax calculations and life insurance taxation), Deferred Comp., Qualified Plan Dist. Rules, Annuity/Muni bond/IRA max, Use of life ins. as a retirement vehicle, Roth IRA alternatives. Able to identify and determine whether to provide assistance or pass the FC/FA on for additional support.
