Location: US-CA-San Diego Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Pay Rate: 90,000.00 - 120,000.00 USD /year Reference Code: 100988542 .:: Essential Job Duties: ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Perform complex Central Systems related software engineering duties following designated standards and procedures, working on own initiative, under the guidance of a Software Manager. Will perform software engineering duties including the full-range of programming tasks: problem analysis, solution determination, code design and development, integration, test, modification, and documentation. Will use industry best practice to solve system problems. Will also plan and participate in software systems development from inception to completion, to include gaining customer acceptance, and may be involved in defining test schedules and test data requirements. The software engineer will join the Java development team working on the Central Systems software..:: Mental/Physical Requirements: .:: Education/Experience Requirements: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering, computer science or other related technical discipline plus five years of experience; or Master of Science degree with at least three years of experience. Candidate must have strong J2EE experience and can use J2EE technologies to design and develop WebServices and Enterprise Web Application with minimum supervision. Must have strong working experience with EJBs, JSP, DHTML, JSTL, Struts framework, JDBC, HTTP, XML and Data access technolgoies. Must be able to solve complex problems. Must be familiar with IPC, TCP/IP, SQL, Oracle, Weblogic, Configuration Management Tool and Jakarta common libraries. Must also have effective written and oral communication skills, including the use of typical office automation products.
