Joint Exercise Forces Provider

Description:Reports To: Exercise Deconfliction and Engagement Branch ChiefReview joint exercise schedules and facilitate the deconfliction of joint training events and joint forces (Active, Reserve and National Guard). Coordinate joint training force support with Service Components, other Combatant Command Headquarters, and Subordinate Commands. Determine if joint force capability is feasible for USJFCOM assigned Service Components, subordinate joint commands, and/or joint activities. If feasible, then prepare, for senior leadership, correspondence requesting subordinate commands to provide the requisite support. Prepare staff reports, information papers, estimates of supportability and feasibility, message traffic, memorandum and letters on behalf of senior leadership. Establish and maintain effective liaison with the staffs of higher, adjacent, and subordinate commands so planning and actions can be coordinated efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner. As directed, stand watch in the Joint Deployment Center in support of exercises.SecretQualifications:* Minimum of 6 years related experience with Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional work experience* Must have active SECRET security clearance.* Knowledge of the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS).* Knowledge of the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS).* Knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).* Knowledge of the Joint Exercise Program and the Chairmans Exercise Program.* Knowledge of the Organization of the Department of Defense, including the Joint Staff and the Functional and Geographic Combatant Commands and their responsibilities.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Knowledge of and skill in using computer applications to include word processing, basic html, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and e-mail.* Familiarity with Deployment Orders (DEPORDS) for Joint Operations.* Familiarity with the Request For Forces (RFF)/ Request For Capabilities (RFC) process.* Familiarity with the Global Force Management Process.* Proficient in Windows (all versions).Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Norfolk, VAJob Number: RUSAGDES130-595097Company URL: http://www.gd-ais.comCompany Profile:General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is one of the most visionary companies in the world.
