Job Description: Security research engineers will work on a variety of projects related to software protection, security auditing, vulnerability research and malicious mobile code. Because of the highly technical nature of this work, a strong background in low-level programming and operating systems is essential, as is previous experience with application security, reverse engineering or malware. Required skills include: -C/C++ on Windows and Win32 API/internals -TCP/IP networking and common networking hardware -Knowledge of contemporary security concepts and problems Candidates should be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment that rewards technical excellence. A bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is desired. Required Skills: Candidate will have 0-2 years demonstratable experience or college course studies in software security vulnerability discovery and analysis, an understanding of static and dynamic reverse engineering techniques, an understanding of communication protocols, and a working knowledge of server configuration and administration. Desired Skills: Software IDA pro and OllyDbg Training: Ft. Meade, MD selected candidates will be asked to spend 1 to 3 months at the company headquarters in Melbourne Florida when they first begin work. This time is used to become familiar with the systems, processes, and people that you will be working with remotely from the Maryland site. This time will also be used to process any unmet clearance requirements Security Clearance: Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a government security clearance up to and including a Full Lifestyle Polygraph. Required Education(including Major): Bachelor of Science in Computers, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience.
