Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q10935 Management responsibility for day to day delivery of application development and support services across multiple applications in support of multiple sites for the Armament Systems Line of Business. Accountable for staffing, resource management, cost budget, technical direction, estimates and overall process for application delivery. Participates with account management team towards a goal of building a strong business partner relationship with existing customers or potential customers. Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained by meeting current and potential application needs, ensuring SOW compliance, and developing long term application strategies. Provides analysis and makes recommendations for resolution of all problems related to applications projects. Performs project management tasks. Performance management and the enhancement of a culture and work environment that attracts, trains, retains and motivates an extremely high caliber team of professionals that helps position BAE Systems - IT as the recognized industry leader. Manage resources to meet goals across multiple projects. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizen. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ten or more years of applications development experience. Seven or more years of experience in managing people. Experience working with application development and maintenance best practices.
