As part of our continuing commitment to support NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) projects, we are currently seeking an experienced LEAD ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER. This position will be responsible for performing testing of critical avionics hardware and software components necessary to the success of a major space flight program.

 

Principal Duties:Support the development and documentation of space qualified complex electronic and electrical systems requirements. Analyze and translate requirements into hardware and software.Develop hardware and software systems and component level interface specifications. Test designs to ensure hardware and software meet operational and functional requirements.Support fielded hardware and software over the life cycle.

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:BS degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or related field with 10 or more years experience or hold an MS or Phd in Engineering, Math, Physics or related field with 6 to 10 years experience.Have specific experience in flowing down system level specifications and requirements to component levels assessing them to ensure compliance with interfaces and managing their traceability.Be able to develop and execute verification plans and strategies to ensure functionality of the design implementation in hardware and software. Proven ability to work with team members to successfully complete multiple assignments and meet required scheduled milestones.Proven experience preserving Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) information.
