Establishes and develops a professional relationship with the military structures as assigned by the PEF Operations Manager. B. Assist the Operations Manager, PEF in ensuring positive communications and the timely flow of information between the PEF Operations Center in Kabul and with PEF forward deployed elements (Forward Operating Base - FOB), Department of State, International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), Combined Forces Command (CFC), US Embassy, Bagram AirField (BAF) and other DynCorp International Programs in Afghanistan. C. Attends daily briefings given by the maneuver unit or Headquarters element to gather and relay critical information, such as specific threats, that may affect PEF personnel and assets. D. Submits and tracks any request for support from PEF, such as medical evacuation and logistical support and reports status to the PEF Operations Center for follow-up E. Serves as the forward deployed representative for the PEF Operations Center and maintains a constant flow of information between forward deployed elements (PEF FOB Teams) and coalition forces in whose Area of Operation the PEF elements are conducting operations. F. Responsible for coordinating liaison operations with both coalition, and U.S. military. Such operations include and are not limited to: Medevac, Quick Reaction Force (QRF) or EOD support from CFC and ISAF. G. Performs other duties as assigned.Education Required: Prefer former senior combat arms officer or senior NCO with operations experience. Associate’s degree in associated discipline. Two (2) years of military or civilian law enforcement experience in security operations may be substituted for each year of the two (2) year degree. Experience Required: Prior military or police experience with at least eight (8) years service. Combat arms, battalion level and active duty operational experience is desired. Employee must be a self-starter, motivated and able to work under hostile conditions in an austere environment. Special Knowledge/Skills Required: A. Candidate must have a Security Clearance. B. Excellent interpersonal communications skills; foreign language skills are extremely useful. C. Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). D. Excellent knowledge of internet and Instant Messenger (IM) communications and a good knowledge of HF and UHF radio communications.Required Skills***Due to contractual requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen AND have a current or recently inactivated U.S. DoS or DoD clearance.***
