Lab Technician

PCC Airfoils is seeking a Lab Technician for the Sanford, NC facility. 

 

 Responsibilities of this position include:

 

· Following Standard Operating Procedures in the physical and chemical analysis of ceramic and shell materials.

· The analysis and reporting of data.

· Ensure shipping schedules are met.

· Perform various tests such as sieve analysis, viscosity, density, pH, etc.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements for this position include:

 

· Associates’ Degree in a related field.

· Must be a self-starter comfortable with conducting a number of tasks concurrently,

with a minimal amount of supervision.

· Good organizational skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office applications including excel, word, etc.

· Prefer chemistry background (either with education or experience)

· Good mathematical skills.

· Previous laboratory experience, preferable in a manufacturing lab. 

· Prefer experience in any of the following: Trace metal analysis- ICP, AA, DC ARC, Particle size analysis or x-ray diffraction.
