Position:  Laser Manufacturing Engineer Location: VA Experience:  7+ years Education:  BS with MS preferredJob Description: Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical leadership, staff mentoring, and hands-on support in the assembly, integration and test of complex solid-state laser systems for low rate production programs.Qualifications and Responsibilities:*coordinate and support the build and alignment of laser resonators and amplifiers *understanding of complex optical components *laser and otpical system troubleshooting experience *acceptance and qualification testing experience *develop and implement laser manufacturing processes for new product lines *support management in coordinating program staffing and capital asset scheduling *customer technical review responsibilities *hands on experience with assembly, alignment, test and troubleshooting of solid-state lasers *optical and laser engineering experience *manufacturing processes and procedures experience *laser manufacturing and laser engineering experience *must be a US Citizenplease contact bmurray@mri-rtp.com MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
