Lead Certification & Accreditation Specialist

Develop, review, and manage the approval process for Army Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation. Specialist will work directly with developers and government personnel to ensure that all security documentation requirements are fulfilled. The C&A specialist will take source documentation and generate security documentation in the required format. The specialist will review security documentation generated by other agencies for accuracy and completeness. The C&A Specialist will track the processing of security documentation through the approval process. Will provide expert opinion on issues related to Information Assurance and IT security. Will develop IA policies and procedures. Will conduct research on IA and IT security issues.Must be eligible to obtain a favorable Secret Clearance (US Citizen) Minimum of 2 years experience supporting DoD security Policies and Procedures Familiarity with DoD Certification and Accreditation process DIACAP Must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Strong MS Office skills
