Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q11109 Accurately diagnose, and resolve a broad range of technical support questions and software/hardware problems for authorized callers in the office environment. Perform configuration and installation or shipment of network peripherals, server builds and re-image workstations and laptop computers, CD and/or DVD creation/duplication and shipment, as necessary. As a single point of contact for problems, must have a thorough understanding of the SW, HW, and network systems employed in this environment. Perform the task of restoring electronic mail and/or files from backup tapes. Setting up and maintaining E-mail and File and Print servers for the purpose of restoring individual e-mailboxes and/or files and directories from both the MS 2000 and 2003 environments. Record and update all required information for all Remedy tickets. Remedy Ticket Worklog entries shall also be required as a journal of all assistance provided, referrals, ticket updates, required follow-up, pertinent dialog, required or installed parts, actions taken, etc. Onsite System Manager Support when required at district offices. Perform the end-user support, network administration, user account management, technical bulletin installation, and daily tape backup/recovery, as required. Position may require technician be onsite within 12 hours of notice. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizen.
