Job Category: Installation/Maintenance/Repair Job Requisition Number: Q10971 Provide Level 3 help desk engineer to assist with UST's support efforts. Will analyze major network or help desk problems and research solutions. Will develop, test and implement solutions to unique or unusual problems detected during troubleshooting. Will document and communicate problems, solutions and the implementation process. Will install and properly configure wireless end user network devices and connections. Will install and configure servers, manage Active Directory, and manage customer's Exchange 2007 organization. Will troubleshoot network usage and peripheral issues, support help desk analysts by acting as an escalation point for level 1 and 2 calls, resolve LAN connectivity issues, and maintain LAN and internet connections. Will maintain security patch and anti-virus software. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizen. Rack-mounted file servers. Windows XP/2003, Active Directory, Exchange 2007. 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS or 0+ Years with PhD. Knowledge of established troubleshooting guidelines and procedures. Knowledge of latest IT technologies and how they may apply to work environment. Understanding of the organization's network and LAN architectures and supporting technologies.Prefer to Have the Following: Cisco switches; Dell file servers. Microsoft SMS 2003.
