Job Category: Building Construction/Skilled Trades Reference Code: 4547~497196 Strong electrical background. Boiler and HVAC background a plus. Will be working under minimal supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions. Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities and production equipment, as well as, perform general maintenance. Construction or Industrial Electrical back ground preferred. 50%- Electrical Maintenance- Ability to work with, troubleshoot and repair the following: AC/DC motors and starters, three phase electrical, controls circuitry, transformers, grounding systems and lighting circuits on facilities and production machinery. 30%- Cross train into other shop disciplines including building HVAC equipment, general boiler maintenance, production machinery upkeep/repair/maintenance, general welding and milwright activities. 10%- General shop upkeep, cleaning, or organizing. 10% - Installation of new electrical equipment High school graduate or equivalent plus 5 years verifiable electrical experience. Electrical training from a trade school or college is a plus. Must have own required tools/multi-meter to perform normal maintenance duties. State Electrical License a plus. Continued education in a maintenance discipline and cross training into other disciplines within the department, will be required. Will be required to obtain boiler operators license and Freon recovery license. Must be available to work any shift, weekends, holidays and be on call as required. Must be very safety and environmentally conscious. Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or other status as a U.S. Person.
