Mass Properties Engineer -
This position requires an understanding of conceptual and preliminary weight estimating, subsystems analysis, and mass properties reporting at the component/subsystem/system levels.
JOB DUTIES:
Experience with applying physcial science principles in order to analyze and forecast weight, balance, and mass properties of design coordination, flight and qualification test support, customer coordination, and formal report preparation. The MP Engineer is required to integrate the design/subcontractor mass properties effort, provide accurate, timely mass properties assessments to our customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in I-deas, and/or UG/NX CAD software, MS Office, and Solid Modeling/Configuration
5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, EMT Certification, and qualify for specific Clearance, etc.
10+ years engineering experience working with weights, and mass properties
Strong work ethic, problem solving skills, troubleshooting skills, and team leadership skills
BSME, BSAero, or Other Engineering
