ME II - Environmental Control Systems

The Mechanical Engineer will carry out engineering assignments concerned with the planning and design of environmental control systems.  Responsible for monitoring, production, installation, operation, maintenance, test and repair of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and processes.

 

Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years experience in the design, analysis and development of industrial components. Experience in the development of military or aerospace equipment is a strong plus. Understanding of military specifications and environment desired.  Hands-on test and hardware experience is required.  Experience with electrical circuits and control theory a plus.  Requires strong oral/written communication skills and must be capable of conducting effective oral presentations to customers.  Must have the ability to prepare written technical procedures and reports.  Will be required to work independently and with interdepartmental teams.  Must be eligible to obtain DoD Security Clearance and be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

 

 

Education:  BSME required.

Professional and/or technical certifications a plus.

 

Computer Skills:  PC, MS Word and Excel are required.

  Solidworks and/or Pro-E modeling experience preferred.
