MEMS Sourcing Program Manager - Analyst Lead Procurement

Honeywell products touch the lives of most people everyday, whether you’re flying on a plane, driving a car, heating or cooling a home, furnishing an apartment, taking medication for an illness or playing a sport.The MEMS Sourcing Program Manager will develop and drive the sourcing strategy for the MEMS tactical programs.  This position reports to the Site Sourcing leader and will matrix in to a cross-functional leadership team steering the success of this business.  May also provide sourcing leadership on other NPI activities. Duties and Responsibilities: Formulate overall sourcing strategy for the MEMS tactical business Lead strategic improvement processes within the supply chain flow Ensure steady flow of product by driving suppliers to take ownership of material issues and assisting when necessary Providing guidance to strategic and tactical sourcing team for the product line to ensure key cost reduction and production ramps are achieved Ensuring site goals and needs are met and aligned with Aero Global Strategic Sourcing Developing long term strategies that provide year over year productivity and continuous improvement in quality and on time delivery as it relates to the AOP Assuring sub tier suppliers are aligned with and agree to Honeywell’s initiatives Developing strong partnerships with suppliers Driving continuous improvements in processes and systems while reducing overall cost of ownership and acquisition Executing flow down of our contractual obligations from our customers to our suppliers Reviewing emerging sourcing opportunities and spearheading the necessary export licensing to secure emerging region sources of supply Ensuring the success of our supplier development initiatives and providing oversight of the development program and its ability to translate those efforts into quantifiable and incremental improvements in supplier quality, delivery, and productivity Supporting and representing strategic supply in meetings and on business teams leading translation of marketing, operations, demanding planning, and engineering needs in supplier requirements Travel 15% Relocation is not available with this position Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in business or technicalUnited States CitizenshipMinimum 5 years related work experience Additional Qualifications:Project Management experienceProfessional certification desirable (NAPM / ISM, APICS, SQE, SME, Program Management)Six Sigma or Lean certifications desirableMBA desirable  Minimum of 3 years experience in strategic sourcing, program or project management, or other leadership role preferred
