Prepare and/or direct the design and development of 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and detailed drawings of components and assemblies. Coordinate design with supporting disciplines. These activities will be in support of projects associated with design and development of the Ares I propulsion systems. Prepare technical presentations concerning technical status and schedule compliance. Carry out assigned duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with MSFC safety policies. Report existing or potentially hazardous situations and close calls and assist in eliminating these conditions. A BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and 5 years of applicable experience is required. A minimum 2 years of design and drawing experience utilizing 3-D CAD is desired. A moderate proficiency of Pro-Engineer version Wildfire creating models and drawings is required. Excellent planning, organizing, scheduling and resource allocation skills desired.
