MIC Assembler Tech IV

Work in manufacturing to assemble complex, non-standard, & standard RF electronics light hardware with the aid of microscope & tweezers: • Perform substrate attach using sheet and/or paste epoxy • Perform component attach using conductive epoxy and/or gold tin eutectic • Perform wedge & ball bonding • Perform ribbon bond using a gap welder or anvil bonder • Perform rework (remove & replace substrates, components & wires) • Perform non-destructive testing on 1 mil wire • Support Test Technicians for rework, tuning bond & mounting carriers in test fixtures • Prepare lids for installation on flight hardware • Perform visual inspection of flight components, including MMICs & Flight hardware • Maintain Company certifications & mandatory training Requires • 3 years related experience and familiarity with MMIC processes & Manufacturing Assembly techniques • High school or equivalent & 2 years technical training Space Systems/Loral has export control and security issues that require attention to the citizenship status of every individual who performs work on its behalf.
