MRB Liaison Engineer - Aircraft Structure Mfg

Overview:

 

Act as an aircraft MRB liaison engineer that reviews and provides dispositions to discrepant composite-metallic detail part and assembly nonconformances. Also provide experienced quidance for liaison engineers to support Vought 787 supplier base and final assembly operations.

Familiar with aerospace material review processing and Boeing document D-13709 “Requirements of Obtaining Material Review Board Authority by Boeing Subcontractors” in a pre-type certification environment . Capable of conveying engineering disposition part repair design intent using CATIA V5 graphics system a plus. Ability to use Enovia and TeamCenter (PDM) product manager systems as well as a variety of MS office and manufacturing execution system (MES) software applications is desirable



Responsibilities:

 Applicant will participate in providing nonconformance dispositions by coordinating with various technical, manufacturing and supplier support functional counterparts as well as FAA Designated Engineering Representatives. Applicant will also be responsible for organizing, prioritization and task assignments for 787 program liaison engineers. Will be involved with Boeing customer technical coordination and Vought management progress reporting.



Qualifications:

 Candidate should possess a BSAE, ME or CE, a minimum 10 years of aerospace engineering experience including a minimum of 5 years MRB-Liaison experience . Boeing MRB structural repair analysis course completion including existing Boeing MRB signature authority.
