Job Functions/Work Summary
This position will support Eclipse's exciting and fast growing field
service parts supply chain. Employees will work in both a warehouse
environment and an office environment. They will work with material
handling as well as parts processing, return to vendor, and buyer
planner roles. A successful candidate is responsible for:
* Establishing SAP planning settings for parts and or service kits
* Pulling parts as necessary to satisfy service or sales order needs
* Execution of transportation arrangements to meet customer expectations
* Expedited and creative response to shortage resolution including
customer AOG events
* Build up and packaging of service kits for modifications to fielded
aircraft
* Prepare, process and track Purchase orders for new and repairable
parts
* Constant communication to keep stakeholders apprised of expected
arrival times for all material requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in material
planning and / or purchasing and be able to demonstrate a track record
that includes strong results orientation, effective
supplier follow up skills, outstanding written and verbal communication
skills, structured problem solving, flexibility in willingness and
ability to take on a variety of roles, SAP skills or aptitude
to learn systems quickly.
